Life is Fragile

Photo by Gary Fultz on Unsplash

thick smoke on the hill

means the wildfires rage unseen

and so too in life

All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field. The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever.

Isaiah 40:6,8

We are so fragile. I thought of that same verse while snapping the pictures of smoky air. The air itself seems to make everything look like a painting rather than real life.

The Lord truly works in mysterious ways, Gary! It’s neat that the Holy Spirit put the same verse on my heart as came to your mind when you took the photo. Thanks!
