Life in Seventeen Syllables

  • Christmas Americana

    Christmas Americana

Lately, many of my Haiku were inspired by “Wordless Wednesday”—a weekly feature on the travel blog, “Chambers on the Road,” by Betty Chambers.

  • Whose Joy?

This joy that I have, the world can’t take it away It belongs to God. You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; Isaiah 55:12a

  • Nothin’ New

You know, brain swamping? When you’re open to ideas, just not nothin’ new.

  • Christmas and 🌹

Like many a porch, but with something so much more. Christmas and roses.

  • Biting Wind

On the sleeping grass the biting wind meets the leaves. Tomorrow? Same thing. “Blowing Leaves” by alexabboud is licensed under CC BY-NC-SA 2.0

  • TEAM!
