Sturdy wild flowers.
Do you ever contemplate
how soon comes the fall?
“Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.”– 2 Corinthians 4:16 (NIV)

Agreed. I know things can’t always stay the same, but it’s still a shock when they don’t. Thanks for stopping by!

The older I get – not only life, but each day, simple joys, family and people – and even my quiet time – become more precious.

Hardly. 🙂 Now David, please, don’t put me on a pedestal as I am sure I will fall off!

Okay, Betty.😊 I’ll just say younger folks (those who are still under warranty) could learn a thing or two from you and Dan.

I walked the woods yesterday, fall is gaining some traction. The maples are the first traitors to summer. I just like lots of color which is why I like that picture.
My wife leaves little clumps of wild flowers in the lawn. It looks like a maze out there sometimes. The cottontail rabbits like to hide and nibble in those flowers.

We have a huge batch of sunflowers 🌻 this year. It’s always a surprise to see where they will sprout. Some of ours are about 10 feet tall! Our Schnauzer loves to explore inside the “ forest” of stocks. It’s funny watching the flower tops magically move!
I need to venture to Northern Minnesota someday. I really do. Summer will be my chosen season, though.
Blessings!

That would be fun to see the stalks moving. I love sunflowers.
Yes, you would enjoy Northern Minnesota. We live about 15 miles from Itasca state park where the mighty Mississippi river begins. Boundary Waters Canoe area wilderness is sadly 5 hours away by car with a thousand lakes in-between.
