winter shadows. still more snow.

dormant, not dead.

For you will go out with joy and be led forth with peace; The mountains and the hills will break into shouts of joy before you, And all the trees of the field will clap their hands.

I was trying to figure out why I like this Haiku so much David.
each separate word or phrase has it’s own unique concept-truth. Each one could command it’s own book going down to all the details. Then you brought all 5 concepts together into a haiku that explains the picture. Brilliant.
I don’t know if those little ash shoots will ever grow big. The deer keep eating the tops and tips of all season long. Somehow they survive. I love the skinny shadows on the snow from the sunrise.
