I easily fall into the trap of age. the “what I can do”. Vs what I think I can do. One of my siblings sent a picture of mom and dad (both gone now). dad had two black eyes and was quite swollen in the face and mom had a grimace on her face. Evidently he, in his late 50’s, was playing basketball with a much younger group of guys and the ball caught him in the face and broke his nose. In his younger years (Mr basketball) his quick hands would have caught the hardest thrown balls and it would be in the basket.
Then there is the problem of sin; it’s much more subtle and deadlier than a basketball…
