This just reminded me that no matter the weather, the sun always rises. It was a -20 (f) morning after a heavy fog was freezing to the trees.

Good point, Gary. No matter how evil the world gets, God
is “good er.” That’s bad English but great preaching!

A beautiful haiku, David! It brought to mind a book that I read last summer called The Hidden Life of Trees by Peter Wohlleben. It describes the fascinating relationship that trees share by communicating with, supporting and protecting each other. It made me see trees in a whole new light. Speaking of light, Gary’s photo is fantastic. The intricate pattern of the branches covered in a hoar frost looks like a panel of lace lit up from behind by the sun. Glorious!
