Thanks, Gary. This one came from listening to Nancy tell about childhood walks with her mom on snowy upstate New York trails. She grew up near the Adirondack State Park.
Nancy has some good childhood memories I’m sure. She would also appreciate warm boots, mitts, coat and head covering to make a good memory on the trail
Yes she does. Apparently, snow suits were worn on the coldest winter days—especially if snowmobiling on such trails. Of course, as a native Okie, such winter bundling up is foreign to me.
Thank you. The third line is often the hardest. It’s supposed to be a juxtaposition—a change thought that still reflects and supports the overall message of the haiku.
