No Rain, No Rainbow

New Morning


The glistening grass

a sassy wren sings along

with the breeze at dawn


Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.

Assurance of Spring

Everybody falls.

And, by God’s grace, we return

like flowers in spring.


The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of God endures forever.
