Leaves

the leaves by the door

raked and bagged, are there no more

less sweeping inside

As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

Psalm 103:12 (NIV)

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

Spires

cloaked with pure white snow

the balsam trees seem to know

‘just keep pointing up’

For this is what the Lord says–he who created the heavens, he is God; he who fashioned and made the earth, he founded it; he did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited–he says: “I am the Lord and there is no other.”

Isaiah 45:18 (NIV)

Peace Rising

many fallen lives

consistently on the rise

through the Prince of Peace

Therefore, being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ

Romans 5:1 (NIV)

The photo today is by Gary Fultz Please follow the link and check out his amazing nature photographs. See his description of this unique shot below.

Frigid temperatures and ice crystals in the air create rainbows on each side of the sun called sun dogs. An artistic snow scape on a lake from heavily packed snow. Drifts and frozen ripples and waves are a wonder to behold, if one does not mind frosty eyelashes and cold biting through the warmest parka.
