This joy that I have,
the world can’t take it away
It belongs to God.
You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace;
Isaiah 55:12a

You know, brain swamping?
When you’re open to ideas,
just not nothin’ new.

Like many a porch,
but with something so much more.
Christmas and roses.

On the sleeping grass
the biting wind meets the leaves.
Tomorrow? Same thing.

Ten geese. Little lake.
The placid water ripples
To the bridge and back

“No rain, no rainbow,”
said the umbrella holder.
“Sure thing! Umbrella?”

Curled up with no cares.
Oh to be a sleeping cat!
Calico dreamer.

Do not say, “I can’t”
When you really mean, “I won’t”
Wakey wake, cup cake.

Either get better
or accept the way things are
no, “pie in the sky.”
