I felt the same way when I saw this photo. My friend Gary lives in Northern Minnesota—almost to Canada. This is clearly a picture of a late fall or early winter snow. This time of year the white stuff is much deeper! Thank you for your comment!

One of your best David. I cannot walk the trail without stopping to soak in the aura of this near mystical place. If there were a doorway to Narnia, this would be it. The oaks meet the balsams here. Daylight barely filters through the thick balsam boughs. walking under the boughs you sink into thick moss that has been there forever. A favorite spot for deer to lay through the storms.
