thankful for the rain

Let us acknowledge the Lord; let us press on to acknowledge Him. As surely as the sun rises, He will appear; He will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth.

Hosea 6:3 (NIV)

and in summer, too. 😊

Wow, a very prophetic (if I can use that misused word) Haiku.
I’m partial to that view David. I sit early morning on the back deck with the Word and a coffee. This is what I see when I look up. Mighty old burr oaks, a basswood and spruce in the distance. It’s actually raining now and predicted be breezy and puffy clouds tomorrow.

What a great view from the back deck you have, Gary. The trees are not nearly as thick in my neck of the woods, but we have plenty of breeze. I wrote this one a few days ago, after a much welcomed rain. It’s acting like it could rain again today. We are thankful for all we can get this time of year.
