Waiting for Rain

lonely Hunger Stone

on the growing river bank

together, alone

Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor His ear to dull to hear.

Isaiah 59:1 (NIV)

I like writing haiku as well. I’m not a very good writer, but I find on a good day a real cool haiku comes.. and makes me happy. Very nice haiku.

Thank you, lily☕️. I enjoy writing haiku as well. Some are arguably better than others. I usually stick to the classic form of 5-7-5 syllables. Thank you for reading, liking, and commenting. I will check out your site!😀

Thank you. I have a scripture blog with photos. And I have to dig out my old haiku’s I wrote back when I was participating in photo challenges and/or write new ones. But it’s one writing style I think I can do. I’ve thought about writing again some for fun. 🙂

Isaiah 59:1 is a great verse for today David. We need a cultural “hunger stone”

Agreed, Gary. Our culture needs to cry out to God for forgivenesses and restoration. Thanks.
