I think that writing haiku takes a fair bit of skill and talent and, as you say, the last line is a clincher.
I’ve seen more of Gary’s photos on his photo website (Unsplash?) – they’re excellent.
I do love that picture David, It’s taken from my back deck, and you hit the last line out of the park, “delicacy dazed”
It seemed like the whole woods was dazed with two seasons overlapping so much. When the snow melted and fell off it took most of the leaves with it.
