the leaves by the door
raked and bagged, are there no more
less sweeping inside
As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
Psalm 103:12 (NIV)
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:9 (NIV)

I so enjoy seeing leaves scattered on the porch. Then I think, “What would my mother say if she saw this?” Slovenly! So I finally sweep them off.
Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

Thank you for sharing, Joy. The leaves in the picture kept blowing into the hallway at my school—making more work for the custodians. Problem solved. For now…

Yes! It’s far from a Reddit thread, but I tried to link the two thoughts from each of my blogs.

Yes. Nancy and I raked them up yesterday. It took about
15 minutes. Of course, it will likely happen again. We have our rakes at the ready!

Praise God the leaves were swept up and disposed of. Jesus removes our sins from us as the east is from the west. Hallelujah!
