the flowers of spring
waited for the melting snow
delayed, not denied
The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food at the proper time. You open your hand and satisfy the desires of every living thing.

Spring was late, this year. The last snow melted this week. We have almost 24 hours of light and the leaves went from tiny buds Monday night to open on Tuesday morning. The leaves today look like they have been open a long time. The migrating birds are here and the ice has gone out on the rivers. The flowers will soon begin to bloom. It is summer. Yes!!

I’m sorry. Your wonderful comment was overlooked some how. I’m glad summer has arrived in the far north! God Bless.

It’s an amazing thing to see the snow melt so late and then everything proceeds in order, although the mosquitoes seemed impatient.
“Patience” is a good title David.

Thanks, Gary. The amount of snow you need to melt is mind boggling to folks where I live.

Lovely! The search for hepatica is usually our first hike of spring.
