The red oak leaf on the deck with acorns falling everywhere took me by surprise, I must admit.
New signs of autumn every day now that I look for them…a lesson there with several layers of life in “looking and seeing” the seasons in others lives.
Expect renewal. That says a lot about faith doesn’t it. They are falling because they cannot hang onto the tree anymore. But they are not afraid. They expect renewal. I am well aware of that. I am totally overthinking this, but it really did bring me some comfort so I’m going to use my take away from this beautiful haiku.

It’s often hard to make a haiku meaningful and impactful, but this one did the trick. I’ll try to expect renewal to and believe in the year to come.
