    Relief from the heat
So glad the fall is coming

The red oak leaf on the deck with acorns falling everywhere took me by surprise, I must admit.
New signs of autumn every day now that I look for them…a lesson there with several layers of life in “looking and seeing” the seasons in others lives.

Indeed, Gary. And we don’t always recognize what season others, or even ourselves, are in. I enjoy our collaboration.

    It’s still hot as hell
    In Yuma Arizona
    And no pretty leaves

      Yuma, hot as hell?
      This may be hyperbolic
Your last line goes here. 😊

I can only imagine how picturesque Alaska is this time of year.

It’s often hard to make a haiku meaningful and impactful, but this one did the trick. I’ll try to expect renewal to and believe in the year to come.

Expect renewal. That says a lot about faith doesn’t it. They are falling because they cannot hang onto the tree anymore. But they are not afraid. They expect renewal. I am well aware of that. I am totally overthinking this, but it really did bring me some comfort so I’m going to use my take away from this beautiful haiku.
