the moon would not shine
without support from the sun
ponder reflection
And we, who with unveiled faces reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

Beautiful, David. Spell it “Son,” and it’s even more True. I just saw the full moon in the pre-dawn sky when I looked outside our front door to listen to the Christmas music softly playing from our neighbor’s beautiful front yard display. “Joy To The World” was the hymn that was playing. Amen, huh!

Serendipitous, indeed! I love using that word. Spelling it correctly is another matter.😊 Yes, I was thinking about Son of God-shine from the beginning. Nature points to a creator–a benevolent one, indeed! Thanks for stopping by, Majik. I hope you and your wife are doing well. God Bless!

It was indeed a bright moon last night. Moody with very black clouds but not thick enough to hide the glow. Good poem. Many layers to contemplate in a simple reflection.

The clouds, “not thick enough to hide the glow” is one thing that makes this photo extra special, Gary. As always, I enjoy our partnership.
