Yes, I don’t have a photo of the actual tornado that inspired this haiku. Thankfully, no one lost their life, but three houses were severely damaged. The twister briefly touched down this past Thursday, about an hour west of where we live.

The story behind the story is the camera man was so engrossed in getting the shot, he almost stepped on a rattlesnake—hiding in the tall grass.
Unfortunately, I don’t have a pic of either the tornado or the rattler.
