This was taken on the wilderness lake (full of walleye and pike) that is the closest to slowfoot. from a couple of my blogs ago…A very rough journey getting there…Love your end line “real conversation”. So true…especially between bites of fresh fried fish over an open fire.
You’ve described the wilderness area enough for me to know it is quite remote. Just being out in God’s creation with no digital interruptions sounds like a dream. Real connection with other humans is becoming a rarity.
