I have seen a lake like that in the Anza Borrego desert south of Palm Springs….in the rainy (sort of) season when the desert is in bloom. Amazing

You accomplished that feeling…I should have made that point in my comment. When you overlook that kind of scene, so many kinds of perspectives and emotions come. Especially knowing the big lake practically dries up
