Young tree with four leaves
Had you heard about the fall?
So little. So much!
A working man may or may not have enough to eat, but at least he can get a good night’s sleep. A rich man, however, has so much that he stays awake worrying.

Nice, Betty! Thank you for sharing. Yes, it’s hard to top the beauty of God’s creation.

I’m sure rooting for that little maple tree David. It’s beside a deer trail and vulnerable to hungry deer if the snow does not cover it.
Think what it will look like in 20 years with hundreds of leaves in the fall. Great Haiku.

I’m hoping the snow covers the little maple this winter, Gary. I’m rooting for it too. Thanks!

My youngest daughter had to write a haiku for school this week. At first she was overwhelmed, so I sat her down with your blog for inspiration. Here was her final poem, “God gifted us cats/ The gift I greatly treasure/ Thank you God for cats.”

Your daughter learning with my Haiku as an example is the highest compliment a teacher can receive! Thank you for sharing. Great job, youngest Alisan daughter!
